FLC - Designing and Implementing Hybrid Courses

Lead: Meg Gorzycki, Ed.D., Faculty Development Consultant

Faculty will explore the fundamentals of course design as they apply to hybrid courses. Instructors will bring to the conversation their own experiences, needs, and concerns that will become the substance of inquiry and strategy-building. Faculty are encouraged to consider the pedagogical and technical elements of information delivery, student engagement, and diversification of assessment with an eye to Universal Design for Learning. This is a Faculty Learning Community and faculty will participate in each of the three meetings scheduled this semester. We will meet again on March 17 and April 21.

Date and Time:
February 17, 2010 - 12:00pm - 1:30pm

Location:
Burk Hall 333
