How to Do Business with Business: A Workshop on Faculty Partnerships with Industry

Lead: Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) and the CSU Chancellor's Office

National expert Dr. Jim Severson, former president of the Association for University Technology Managers (AUTM) and SF State faculty Mark Ciotola and Martin Linder will discuss research grants with small business (SBIRs/STTRs), sponsored agreements with industry, non disclosure agreements, faculty-owned businesses, and consulting arrangements.

We will also review SF State's new Intellectual Property policy, now available at http://www.sfsu.edu/~senate/documents/policies/F09-253.html

Continental breakfast 8:30 AM; workshop begins at 9:00 AM
