Focusing and Refocusing Students Attention

Lead: Erik Rosegard, Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Department

New teaching strategies (i.e., active, collaborative, and problem-based learning) are crucial to classroom success ... but before students can benefit from these learning methods, they must first be oriented to the subject matter. The purpose of this workshop is to share and provide strategies and techniques that excite curiosity, provoke interest and capture students' attention, no matter the size, level or content of the class.
