Assessing and Grading Your Students in Lean Hours

Lead: Meg Gorzycki, CTFD Faculty Consultant

These sessions will examine strategies for providing students with meaningful formative and summative assessments that respect the diverse demands on instructor’s time. We will address how to adjust existing assessments, create new ones, and what adjustments can be made in grading procedures that will streamline the activity without compromising the stated outcome of the assignment. Participants will bring samples of their assignments and assessments and have the opportunity to bring applications of new ideas to the next meeting.
