Lecturer Faculty
Lecturer faculty at SF State are recognized for their important contributions to the educational mission of the university. CTFD workshops, gatherings and resources are open and available to all faculty, regardless of tenure status.
The SF State Academic Senate has formulated a list of principles concerning the lecturer position. If you are a lecturer faculty member, we hope you will not only familiarize yourself with these principles, but also utilize the other resources available on this site and at the Center for Teaching and Faculty Development.
Faculty Resource Guide
Lecturer faculty are encouraged to check out the Faculty Resource Guide, an annual publication provided by CTFD and available to all faculty members. The guide contains useful information on policies, guidelines, and services offered at SF State as well as information ranging from the California State University system to life in San Francisco in general.
