International Survey on Faculty Roles

Sponsored by: American Educational Research Association

Researchers from the American Educational Research Association and its Special Interest Group in Faculty Teaching, Evaluation, and Development (AERA-SIGFTED) and the Professional and Organizational Development Network in Higher Education (POD) are conducting research on faculty roles, skills, and work. The study seeks to better understand the nature of the professoriate, the demands placed on faculty, and the ways in which this information can support improved policies and practices, particularly in the evaluation of faculty and in the provision of professional enrichment services and resources. Full- and part-time higher education faculty are encouraged to participate in the 15-minute survey, which can be accessed online at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=0S0ZhSgBLg8f5Nuvn1Rl2Q_3d_3d
