Analytrics activities comprise consultancy and conferences.

The congress will bring together humanities and social sciences (HSS) researchers, scientists, academicians, experts, engineers, developers, administrators and other HSS research-related professionals and practitioners from all over the world. The aims are to promote multidisciplinary dialogue and mutual cross-fertilisation of ideas and methods; to offer a place for participants to present, discuss, and showcase innovative recent and ongoing HSS research works and their applications or development; update on- and explore new ways and directions; and take advantage of opportunities for contacts, interaction, and international collaboration and networking.

All areas of Humanities and Social Sciences research are invited: anthropology and ethnology; applied mathematics, statistics and sciences for HSS research; archaeology; area studies; arts; business administration; classics; communication studies; cultural studies; demography; development studies; economics; environmental studies; epistemology; gender studies; geography; history; information science; international relations; languages and cultures; law; linguistics and language sciences; literature; philosophy; policy, epistemology and methodology of multi-, inter-, trans- and cross-disciplinary HSS research; political science; psychology; religion; research policy, administration and strategies; and sociology.

The languages of the congress are English and French.

Call for Proposals

Proposals are in the form of abstracts. Session formats include individual paper sessions, symposia, workshops, roundtables and poster sessions. The languages of the congress are English and French.
Contributions in all areas of humanities and social sciences research are welcome. Proposals are to be submitted online, from the link posted further down this page. Submission through other channels will not be considered. There won’t be any second round for the submission of proposals.

Number of Proposals and Co-authors

The admitted number of proposals is limited to three per participant. The number of co-authors per contribution is limited to seven. Multi-presenters should be aware that, for reasons of organisation, their possible scheduling needs might not be fully accommodated.

Content of a Proposal

The submission and reviewing process is based on abstracts. No full paper is required. A proposal comprises two parts.

Part 1 lists the contributors’ details. Up to seven co-authors may be mentioned. For each of them, the courtesy title, first and family names, job title, institution, country, email addresses, telephone and mobile phone international numbers are required. When ready to proceed with submission, it is advisable to have all these information before hand because the system would not allow you to re-access later on to complement your proposal. Please provide as many email addresses as possible so as to minimise the risk of email loss.

Part 2 informs on the contribution: requested session format (see possible formats below), session language (English only, French only, or Ability to interact in both languages), orientation of the contribution (practice or research), contribution title, and disciplinary area. An abstract (no more than 200 words), two/three keywords, and a short list of no more than three literature references will be provided too. It is recommended to prepare the whole proposal before starting the submission procedure, and to keep a copy of it. The secretariat will not be in position to send it back to you.

Submission Deadline Sunday, October 30, 2011
